The five-time IPL winners have had an uncertain start to the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). They started the season with two losses before rebounding to win their next three games in a row.
However, they were unable to capitalise on the momentum and leapfrog their competitors due to inconsistencies in both categories. After ten games, they have won five and lost five, and they now rank sixth in the points standings.
