Rohit Sharma put on a show against Australias premier pace duo Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc during the powerplay in the ongoing 2024 T20 World Cup match. The Indian skipper lit up the stadium by scoring an impressive 28 runs from Mitchell Starcs over leaving fans on the edge of their seats.
Mitchell Marsh, the Australian captain, then entrusted Pat Cummins with bowling in the powerplay. Rohit Sharma continued in the same style, welcoming Cummins with a massive six.
Rohit Sharma judged Cummins’ delivery perfectly and put it on the roof of the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium. Cummins couldn’t believe Rohit blasted the ball for a 100m six.

According to commentator Ravi Shastri, this was Rohit’s 200th T20I six, making him the first hitter in cricket history to reach this milestone.
