In the match, Rohit’s performance at the crease was less than stellar. His scores? 5 (14) and 0 (8) in two innings. Rohit and his team are keen to do better and give a stronger display in the following Test.

Rohit Sharma admits India can learn from South Africa’s bowling after Boxing Day Test defeat
Speaking at the post-match news conference following the first Test, Rohit Sharma said that his bowling unit’s failure to execute in accordance with the circumstances led to them giving up far too many runs on a challenging surface.
He made the observation that although Jasprit Bumrah bowled brilliantly, the other pacers did not help him. Rohit held back from criticizing the bowlers too much, though, and expressed his hope that they will see their flaws and work on them moving ahead.
