Litton Das, Bangladesh’s opener, was dismissed in the fourth over of the match on Saturday, June 22. The right-hander sent Pandya’s somewhat short-pitched delivery over the midwicket fence. The 30-year-old all-rounder made a remarkable comeback by slowing it down, and Das repeated the shot. However, he holed out to the mid-wicket fielder, and Suryakumar Yadav sprinted in to make a stunning catch.

Hardik Pandya stood out as the best batter, striking an unbeaten 50 off 27 balls. The all-rounder also shared a 53-run stand with Shivam Dube, who hit three maximums in 34 balls.
India finally defeated Bangladesh handily, with Kuldeep Yadav emerging as the standout bowler with scores of 4-0-19-3. Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah both finished with two, while Hardik Pandya had one.
