Robin Uthappa recently discussed the difficulties that Team India opener Shubman Gill may have when he returns from dengue fever for the 2023 World Cup.
Gill was ruled out of the Men in Blue’s first match against Australia in Chennai, and he is also expected to miss Wednesday’s match against Afghanistan in Delhi.
Uthappa, who has previously suffered from dengue, indicated that Gill may experience bone discomfort after recovering from the mosquito-borne viral sickness. He stated in his most recent YouTube video:
It’s worth noting that Shubman Gill did not go to Delhi with the India squad and instead remained in Chennai following the game against Australia. According to recent sources, the boy might go to Ahmedabad to complete his recuperation.
“Naveen-ul-Haq vs Virat Kohli will be an interesting matchup” – Robin Uthappa
The ninth game of the 2023 World Cup between India and Afghanistan will take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi later today. The day-night match begins at 2 PM IST.
According to Robin Uthappa, he is eager to witness Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq square off. Notably, the two athletes engaged in a contentious argument earlier this year during the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023).
Uthappa went on to name the main matchups for the contest:
India’s campaign began with a decisive six-wicket win over Australia. They have a net run rate of 0.883 and are currently ranked fourth in the points Table.
