Robin Uthappa is one of the IPL’s highest run scorers. In 205 games, he scored 4,952 runs at a strike rate of 130.55, including 27 half-centuries. When KKR won their second IPL title in 2016, he ended the season with 660 runs in 16 games.
During his limited opportunities for CSK, the Karnataka batter produced a match-winning effort. He struck 63 off 44 balls in the Qualifier against Delhi Capitals. He remained unbeaten at 31 off 15 as CSK won the IPL 2021 final.
The 37-year-old just declared his retirement, with the intention of playing for the India Maharajas in the Legends League Cricket Masters in March. During the competition, he turned back the clock with an undefeated 88 off 39 balls against Asia Lions.
