Rishabh Pant, the wicketkeeper-batter for Team India and the Delhi Capitals (DC), is expected to return to action in the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) after a lengthy injury absence.
Rishabh Pant suffered injuries during a dreadful car accident in December 2022. The 26-year-old has been out of action since then. However, fans can rejoice as he’s been given the green light to play in IPL 2024.
On Tuesday, March 12, the Delhi Capitals posted a beautiful graphic to welcome Pant. However, a fan was dissatisfied with the photograph and suggested that the DC skipper go for a drive again after reading the post.
Rishabh Pant recognized the humor in it and answered with a couple of laughing emojis.
Pant’s injuries led to him missing IPL 2023. David Warner took charge as captain for Delhi in his absence, but the team struggled mightily, ending second-last on the points table. The campaign was dismal, with few positives for Delhi to take away.
