Rinku Singh of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batted quickly during his team’s Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) match against the Delhi Capitals in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday, April 3.
Facing the fiery pace of Anrich Nortje in the 19th over, Rinku Singh unleashed his fury. He smashed three towering sixes and one boundary off the South African speedster’s bowling. His lightning-quick hands and clean striking were a treat for KKR fans.
Rinku Singh opened the over with two consecutive sixes. Rinku Singh scored two runs on the third ball, while the next delivery was wide. The KKR star followed up with another six and a boundary, totaling 25 runs off five balls.
The last ball of the over saw Nortje dismissing Rinku. Rinku Singh tried to play a lofty shot but got caught by David Warner. Though Nortje had the final chuckle, the harm was already inflicted.

KKR scored 272 runs after playing all 20 overs in the match. This is the second-highest score in the history of the league. Sunil Narine made 85 runs. Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored 54 runs. Andre Russell hit 41 runs.
KKR Dominates DC with a Convincing 106-Run Victory in IPL 2024
Delhi’s team could not make lots of runs. They got all out for 166 runs in 17.2 overs. KKR won the match by a big margin of 106 runs. This was their third win in a row in IPL 2024.
Tristan Stubbs scored 54 runs, while Rishabh Pant scored 55. But the other batters could not score many runs. Vaibhav Arora was the best bowler for KKR. He took three wickets. Varun Chakaravarthy also got three wickets. Mitchell Starc took two wickets.

KKR has won three times in three matches. They are at the top of the IPL 2024 leaderboard. Next, KKR will play against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The match will happen at MA Chidambaram Stadium. The date is Monday, April 8.
