In the most recent edition of ICC Review, Ravi Shastri said:
Ravi Shastri lavished similar praise on Rinku Singh, believing that the two came from comparable backgrounds, making them hungry and motivated.
Yashasvi Jaiswal has been the season’s finest top-order batsman, with 575 runs at an average of 47.92 and a strike rate of 166.18.
Rinku Singh, on the other side, has performed multiple late-game heroics in addition to his regular hitting in the middle order. He has scored 407 runs at a 50.88 average with a strike rate of 143.31.
Despite their outstanding achievements, RR and KKR are on the verge of being eliminated with only 12 points in 13 games.
