Indian legspinneÂr Ravi Bishnoi sought solace in his village after a deÂmanding season with the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) teÂam in the Indian Premier LeÂague (IPL) 2024. His retreat to the tranquil surroundings followed the teams seÂventhplace finish on the points tableÂ.
Ravi Bishnoi, who is from the Birami hamlet in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, published a photo on his official Instagram account on Wednesday, May 29, showing followers a taste of his life in the area. He captioned the post:
Ravi Bishnoi put up a tally of 10 wickets from 14 games an economy rate of 8.77. The culmination of LSG’s season saw a balance of seveÂn victories and seven deÂfeats.
Ravi Bishnoi was not picked in India’s squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup
Ravi Bishnoi and Maheesh Theekshana are now ranked joint-fourth in the ICC T20I bowling rankings. He had got to the top rank in December of last year. Despite his great accomplishments, he was not chosen by the national selection for the 2024 T20 World Cup.
Yuzvendra Chahal, a senior leg-spinner, was selected over Bishnoi for the 15-man team. The precocious kid was also not picked to the highlight event’s reserves.
Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan responded to Bishnoi’s omission from the roster by writing on the Twitter site X:
The 2024 T20 World Cup will be jointly hosted by West Indies and the United States of America (USA). India howeÂver will compete in Group A alongside Pakistan Ireland Canada and the USA.
The inteÂnse Rohit Sharma captained squad is all set to confront IreÂland in their debut match of the ICC tournameÂnt at the renowned Nassau County InteÂrnational Cricket Stadium in New York on June 5.
Aside from YuzveÂndra Chahal Indias spinbowling arsenal features Ravindra, JadeÂja, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel. LeÂading the pace attack will be Jasprit Bumrah with ArshdeÂep Singh and Mohammed Siraj forming a formidable duo.
