Mumbai Indians (MI) are by far the most successful team in franchise cricket, not just the IPL. They have a record five IPL titles and two Champions League Twenty20 titles.

Mumbai Indians have had several great players throughout the years who have played an important role in the franchise’s success.

Sachin Tendulkar, Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya and Quinton de Kock had made significant contributions many times, some of these batters have even scored centuries.

We rate MI batters’ hundreds in the IPL so far:

When it was their turn to bat, KKR only managed to score 155 runs, delivering MI a 27-run win. Many cricket analysts and fans complimented Rohit’s innings, praising him for the quality and elegance with which he approached his batting.

Simmons’ century was critical in Mumbai Indians’ pursuit of Punjab’s total of 157 with an over to spare. He had significant partnerships with Michael Hussey, Ambati Rayudu, and Rohit Sharma, but he was the team’s major run-scorer. Tendulkar’s innings included 12 boundaries and three sixes, and he formed important partnerships with Davy Jacobs and Ambati Rayudu. Tendulkar’s century was critical in assisting the Mumbai Indians in setting a tough mark of 183 for KTK.

Sadly for him and MI, KTK easily reached the target with spectacular knocks from Brendon McCullum and Mahela Jayawardene.
