On March 13th, 2021, Rahul Silpigunj and Kaala Bhairava, who sang Naatu Naatu’, won the ‘Best Original Song’ Award at the prestigious 95th Annual Academy Awards which was held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California. The song is composed by MM Keeravani and written by lyricist Chandrabose, featuring lead actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan.
Meanwhile, Chris Gayle was also seen grooving to the tune of ‘Gangnam Style’. LLC shared a video captioned as “@chrisgayle333 in his natural mood, as always!.”
World Giants outshine India Maharajas with a three-wicket victory
World Giants defeat India Maharajas by three wickets with Chris Gayle’s 57 off 46 and Aaron Finch’s 26 off 16 in LLC Masters. The Maharajas were restricted to 136/9 in the 20 overs allotted after World Giants elected to bowl first. On the batting side, India was led by Suresh Raina’s 49 off 41 balls, with Manvinder Bisla and Irfan Pathan contributing 36 and 25 runs, respectively. Brett Lee was the standout bowler with 3/18 as Chris Mpofu, Tino Best grabbed a couple of wickets each while Samit Patel, and Monty Panesar each took a wicket.
On Saturday, March 18, the India Maharajas will take on either the World Giants or the Asia Lions in the Eliminator despite having three losses in four games. The winner will then advance to compete in the final against the top-ranked team.
