While the Indian players were enjoying a few of days free in Dharamshala, head coach Rahul Dravid and his support staff chose to spend some time trekking in Triund after their win over New Zealand.
Dravid and batting instructor Vikram Rathour were seen discussing their journey experiences in a recent BCCI film. The entire support team also took photographs and generated some wonderful memories.

Rahul Dravid hopes his children and Indian players will experience the Triund trek someday

Head coach Rahul Dravid was amazed by the breathtaking beauty he encountered during the Triund trek. While he admits it was initially challenging, he is proud and happy to have successfully completed it.
On this, here’s what he said in the video:
“Superb view getting here up to Triund. You’re getting up the mountain, climbing, it’s a challenging trek I must admit it. Once you come here, the view is just spectacular. Its incredible I think, terrific for the support staff to be able to come here. It’s a great day out as well.”

Dravid further added:
“Unfortunately can’t bring the boys up here. It will be a bit too risky (laughs) walking on those stones. But hopefully, one day when they’re not playing, will love some of the boys to come and experience this.
“There are so many place that are just rich in nature and diversity and places that we can explore and are still so beautiful and untouched. I hope we keep it that way. I would love my children to do this one day.”

All-rounder Hardik Pandya is still racing against the clock to get ready for India’s next game against England on October 29 in Lucknow. The hosts might use the same lineup that defeated New Zealand by four wickets on Sunday.
