On Saturday, March 30, Punjab Kings (PBKS) ace spinner Rahul Chahar removed Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) all-rounder Marcus Stoinis to exact his retribution in the current Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 battle at Ekana Cricket Stadium.
Stoinis was dismissed in the ninth over of LSG’s innings after slamming Rahul Chahar for two consecutive sixes from the previous two deliveries. The right-handed hitter exited for 19 runs off 12 balls, attempting to be greedy against the leg-spinner.
Rahul Chahar produced a flatter, faster delivery that slipped through and beat Stoinis before slamming into the leg stumps. The 24-year-old adjusted his length after fuller and shorter length balls were hit for sixes over the bowler’s head and square leg, respectively.
