The Chennai Super Kings demonstrated remarkable skills on the field. Ajinkya Rahane and Rachin Ravindra combined forces to dismiss Virat Kohli. He is a star batter for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. This occurred during Friday’s opening IPL 2024 season match.

The pressure continued to rise with dot balls, as Kohli shifted and attempted to pull a delivery from Mustafizur Rahman over midwicket. However, he did not get hold of it, and Rahane rushed quickly to his right to make a fantastic catch and dismiss him for 21 runs.

While Ajinkya Rahane tumbled with the momentum, he had the foresight to send the ball to Rachin Ravindra, who approached the former from square leg. The replays proved it to be a clear catch, and it took a particular effort to keep Virat Kohli from turning his start into a massive score.

Here’s the video of the dismissal:

Mustafizur threw RCB farther into the abyss by dismissing Cameron Green after just a handful of deliveries. Green looked to give himself some space and cut a delivery towards the point location. However, the Australian’s decision backfired when his stumps were disturbed.

After losing three wickets in the powerplay, it appeared that the RCB were on their way to consolidating their innings. Virat Kohli and Cameron Green took their time getting in, milking the CSK bowlers for singles and the odd double.

However, just as Bengaluru was about to pull the trigger, Mustafizur returned to the attack and gave just what Chennai desired. With Kohli and Green’s wickets, the Bangladesh pacer now has four scalps in two overs.

RCB needs Anuj Rawat and Dinesh Karthik to continue their partnership until the death overs, when they will attempt to burst and score a competitive total.
