The batsman, Prithvi Shaw, started practicing in the nets not too long ago, mending from a knee injury. The daring player hasn’t performed since last August. His injury happened while he was in a match for Northamptonshire, an English domestic one-day tournament.
Shaw was a productive player for them, scoring 429 runs in four innings until a knee injury ended his appearance early. After receiving some medical attention, he underwent rehabilitation at Bangalore’s National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Prithvi did not compete in Mumbai’s initial Ranji Trophy matches, yet, he aspires to return shortly.
This 24-year-old athlete posted a promising update on Instagram. His video showcases him practicing power-packed moves at the nets. This suggests a nearing return to the game.

The Delhi Capitals (DC) team has decided to keep Prithvi Shaw for the next IPL 2024. Some have expressed astonishment at the DC management’s choice, given that Shaw was benched and struggled for runs in the previous season. It would be intriguing to watch if, in the upcoming season, Prithvi can live up to his management’s confidence in his hitting abilities.
“Players who have played with him have gone ahead”- Anil Kumble on Prithvi Shaw

Anil Kumble, a former Indian captain, has expressed the opinion that Prithvi Shaw should reflect and work toward reaching his full potential. Shubman Gill and other of Kumble’s colleagues have made a name for themselves in international cricket, surpassing him. On Jio Cinema, Anil Kumble stated:
“This is something that he needs to understand. Players who have played with him have gone ahead. For example Shubman Gill, who is one of India’s best players, and a young player who is looking at a future with the team for a long time. And Shaw has missed out on that. So this is simply a make or break season for him.”
