On Sunday, Indian cricketers Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami posted images of Prime Minister Narendra Modi entering the Indian dressing room following the 2023 World Cup final.
The two discussed how PM Modi lifted the emotions and pushed Team India after they were sad after losing by six wickets to Australia led by Pat Cummins.
For the uninitiated, Indian players were obviously upset after failing to overcome the last barrier despite winning 10 consecutive games. Captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Mohammed Siraj, among others, were overcome with passion and burst into tears.

In a photo tweeted by Shami, Modi can be seen comforting Virat Kohli, who was named Player of the Tournament after amassing 726 runs in 11 games. On X, the speedster post on X:
Shami was the highest wicket-taker, with 24 scalps in seven games, while Jadeja had 16 in 11 games.
