MS Dhoni, former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain, was spotted rolling his arms with the ball before of his team’s Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match against Gujarat Titans (GT) on Tuesday at Chepauk.

MS Dhoni has not bowled in the cash-rich league since the debut season in 2008. However, the right-arm medium bowler has just taken one wicket in his stellar international career.
MS Dhoni bowled West Indies hitter Travis Dowlin at the 2009 Champions Trophy in Johannesburg. He had also dismissed Kevin Pietersen of England in a 2011 Test match at Lord’s, but the caught-behind verdict was reversed.
Regarding IPL affairs, MS Dhoni resigned his leadership role prior to 2024’s season commencement. This decision followed Super Kings’ triumphant capture of their fifth title in the lucrative league during the preceding year. The 42-year-old veteran holds the record for most victories as captain in this T20 competition.
The Ranchi-born wicketkeeper-batsman is playing simply as a player for the first time since 2022, when all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja led CSK through the first eight games before turning up the captaincy to MS Dhoni.
