Andre Russell got the big wicket of Suryakumar Yadav in the IPL 2024 match between KKR and MI at Wankhede Stadium. This dismissal by Kolkata Knight Riders brought Mumbai Indians down to 120/7 runs. This kept KKR in the game with a chance to win.
Suryakumar Yadav finished with 56 runs from 35 balls, including two maximums and six fours.
For those unfamiliar, the dismissal occurred in the 16th over of MI’s run chase. Russell delivered a full toss, and Suryakumar Yadav attempted to whip it away towards the long leg. The right-hander, however, failed to center the ball that flew into the air. Phil Salt, the wicketkeeper, signalled for it and grabbed the catch.
