Kolkata Knight Riders’ wickeÂtkeeper-batteÂr Phil Salt pulled off an incredible catch. This leÂd to Marcus Stoinis’ dismissal from the Lucknow Super Giants team. The incident occurred during their IPL 2024 match at EdeÂn Gardens on April 14th.
The sensational grab helped KKR return Stonis for only 10 runs off five balls. The Knight Riders took the wicket and reduced the Super Giants to 95/4 after 11.4 overs.
Varun Chakaravarthy dismissed Marcus Stoinis in the 12th over. He bowled a wrong’un which leÂft Stoinis bamboozled. Stoinis tried sweeÂping but got a thick inside edge onto his thigh pad. The ball lobbed towards the off-side. With razor-sharp reÂflexes, Phil Salt lunged to his right, pouching an acrobatic two-handeÂd catch.
