In a video posted to the Rajasthan-based franchise’s social media accounts, Donovan Ferreira questioned Nandre Burger about a batter the left-arm pacer loved sledging. While he said that there was no specific batter he enjoyed sledging, he thought a clash with Virat Kohli would be exciting.
Burger said:
“I don’t think there’s any specific batsman I enjoyed sledging. I just think I enjoy the competitive side of it. But I think during the India series, people thought myself and Virat had a little thing, which we actually didn’t. There was no sledging happening there. It was just staredowns. But I think to get into a little sledging match with him would be quite fun. I think I’d enjoy it.”

Ferreira reacted humorously to his teammate’s plans to sledge Kohli, saying:

Virat Kohli hit 973 runs in 16 IPL matches in 2016, the most ever scored by a batsman in a single season. Matthew Hayden, a former Australian opener, feels the RCB star may beat his own record this season.
Hayden told Star Sports the following:
