MS Dhoni, the captain of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), recently visited Deori Mandir to seek blessings from Goddess Maa Durga ahead of the IPL 2024. The temple is located in Tamar village, around 60 kilometers from Ranchi.
Dhoni’s last appearance was in the previous year’s IPL. He captained the CSK team to its fifth title, triumphing over Gujarat Titans in the final. Post-finale, knee surgery followed for MS Dhoni. Months of rehabilitation came next, which he completed successfully.
A person of 42 years is in gear, taking batting drills within Ranchi’s Jharkhand State Cricket Association Stadium nets. It’s all prep work for the upcoming IPL season.
A fan uploaded a video on X showing MS Dhoni away from the pitch. The great cricketer may be seen in a line at the Deori Mata shrine, with other enthusiasts.
