The Gujarat Titans never got into a position to chase down the 200-plus total and were finally limited to 163/8. Sai Sudharsan (37 off 31) was his team’s sole batter to score 30-plus runs. Chennai’s Deepak Chahar, Deshpande, and left-arm bowler Mustafizur Rahman each took two wickets.
Shivam Dube and Rachin Ravindra Impress with Bat for CSK

Earlier, opener Rachin Ravindra got CSK off to a strong start, hitting six fours and three sixes in his 20-ball 46. Chennai skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 46 off 32 balls, while Mitchell added 24* and Sameer Rizvi 14 off 6.
