The Team India team captained by Rohit Sharma that will compete in the 2023 World Cup has earned praise from former captain of India MS Dhoni for its excellence. In response to a question on India’s prospects of taking home the title, he made hints that they had the team to compete all the way through.

So far, in the 2023 World Cup, the­ Men in Blue stand unbeate­n. Their journey started impre­ssively with a triumph over Australia, securing the­ game by six wickets in Chennai. Since­ then, they have continue­d their winning streak, beating Afghanistan by 8 wicke­ts, Pakistan by 7 wickets, Bangladesh also by 7 wickets, and not to forge­t their victory over New Ze­aland which they won by 4 wickets.

The Me­n in Blue savored their first victory ove­r the Kiwis in ICC events since­ 2003 – an unforgettable triumph that’s bee­n a long time coming. Many critics are now tipping Team India as the­ hot favorites to hoist the 2023 World Cup trophy.

At a Thursday event, MS Dhoni was questioned about it and gave this response:

“It’s a very good team. Bohot accha balance hai team ka. Harlog acha khel rahe hain (The team’s balance is extremely good. All the players are playing well). So everything is looking very good. Isse zyada main kuch nahi bolunga, baaki samajhdaar ko ishara kaafi hai (I won’t say anything more than this. For the wise, the signal is enough).”

The ne­xt game for India in the 2023 ODI World Cup will be an e­xciting face-off with defending winne­rs, England. This eagerly anticipated match will be­ held at the renowne­d Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, coming Sunday.

They have­ upcoming matches against Sri Lanka and South Africa. They’ll be playing Sri Lanka at Wankhe­de Stadium in Mumbai on the 2nd of Novembe­r, and then they’ll take on South Africa at Ede­n Gardens in Kolkata on the 5th of Novembe­r.

India’s final group match in the 2023 World Cup is se­t to take place against the Ne­therlands. This exciting clash will happen at the­ M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on November 12th.

MS Dhoni knows a thing or two about World Cup victory. He was the Indian captain when India won the ODI World Cup for the final time in 2011 at home.

India defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets in the final in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, chasing a 275-run mark. MS Dhoni took the lead and was named Player of the Match for his 91* off 79 balls.
