Following the completion of the IPL 2024 auction, former Indian captain MS Dhoni was spotted playing (pickleball or tennis) with Rishabh Pant in Dubai. Pant was at the auction with the Delhi Capitals (DC) and raised the paddle many times throughout the bidding.

As his health progresses, he is expected to return to action as the captain of the DC side during IPL 2024. Pant has been out all year owing to injuries sustained in a car accident last December. The southpaw is now undergoing rehabilitation and will return to the field next season.

MS Dhoni was in Dubai but did not attend the auction with representatives from the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). A fan took to X and posted a video showing Dhoni and Pant having a good time in Dubai. The couple can be seen in the footage playing what appears to be tennis. However, several web users mistook it for pickleball.
