Prior to India’s visit of South Africa, Mohammed Shami has started his training. The news comes weeks after the cricket player’s ankle ailment kept him out of the South African white-ball series. Subject to his fitness, he has been included to India’s side for two Test matches.
On Sunday, December 9, Mohammed Shami posted a video. He was in the nets, practicing batting. This is good news for Team India. They’re looking for their first Test series victory in South Africa.

Regarding Mohammed Shami’s fitness, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) just released an update.

Most recently, Mohammed Shami emerged as the 2023 World Cup’s top wicket-taker. In seven games, the speedster took 24 wickets at an economy rate of 5.26, including three fifers.
Despite winning 10 straight games, the Men in Blue were unable to overcome the last obstacle against eventual champions Australia.
