Audiences gave praise to Jaiswal’s performance, naming him Player of the Series. He scored 712 runs in total, across nine innings, with an impressive average of 89.00.
On the Star Sports show ‘Follow the Blues’, Kaif was asked about Jaiswal’s performance against England.
The sample size is very small but we have been seeing Jaiswal for many years. We have seen him in the Ranji Trophy and the IPL. He played splendidly in the IPL and he is an incredible player,” he responded.
Mohammad Kaif remarked that Jaiswal demonstrated his talents by carrying James Anderson around the park.
Jaiswal scored 26 sixes in the five-match series. He blasted Anderson for three consecutive sixes in India’s undefeated 214-run second innings in the third Test in Rajkot.
