Only Suryakumar Yadav scored some runs with a good half-century. But then Andre Russell got him out in the 16th over. After that, KKR took control of the match.
Mitchell Starc took four wickets for only 33 runs. In the 19th over, he grabbed three more wickets. This helped Knight Riders win the match in a great way. Mitchell Starc had not played well this season before this match. So he felt happy to do well for his team in this game.
After dismissing last MI batsman Gerald Coetzee with a classic yorker, Mitchell Starc bowler let out a big yell.

The leader of the Kolkata Knight Riders squad, Shreyas Iyer, shared his thoughts on the win after the match ended. He expressed:
“Was just having a conversation with Starcy on about how important it was. I just got to know about (MI’s record here) just after the match. We would have loved to cherish it but have a match to play in 2 days. Impact Player helped us in this game.”

KKR’s next IPL 2024 match will be against LSG on Sunday (May 5) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
