During the IPL 2024 clash between RR and GT in Jaipur on April 10, a dramatic moment unfolded. Kuldeep Sen, RR’s pacer, trapped GT opener B Sai Sudharsan plumb in front. The batter was adjudged not out initially, but RR captain Sanju Samson’s successful DRS review overturned the decision. Sudharsan, left-handed, had to depart the crease.
The event occurred in the ninth over of the innings when Sai Sudharsan attempted a scoop shot but the ball smacked his pads. While the umpire rejected Kuldeep Sen’s wicket, Sanju Samson requested a review, and Sudharsan had to walk back for 35 off 29 deliveries.

The Titans triumphed despite the Royals’ mammoth 196 runs in the allotted overs. Shubman Gill stood tall, scoring 72 off 44 balls – a defiant innings studded with boundaries. His colleagues, however, struggled to replicate his exploits.
Yet, contributions from Vijay Shankar, Rahul Tewatia, Shahrukh Khan, and Rashid Khan propelled Gujarat over the line. When two runs were needed off one delivery, Avesh Khan conceded a boundary in the final over, sealing Rashid’s match-winning effort.
Rashid Khan got Player of the Match for his great performance. The Titans won after losing twice. The Royals beat Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their last four matches.
