There was a close call for Rajasthan Royals (RR). Their captain Sanju Samson and bowler KuldeÂep Sen almost bumped into eÂach other. They were trying to catch a hit by Punjab Kings (PBKS) batsman Atharva Taide. This happened in theÂir Indian Premier League (IPL) match on Saturday (April 13) in Mullanpur.
For those who are unfamiliar, the two players got beneath the sky-high catch before Sen caught the ball. Because of their gloves, wicketkeepers typically aim for high catches. Fortunately, Sen did not miss the catch for the Royals.
The event occurred during the fourth over of the PBKS innings. Avesh Khan hit a short ball, and Taide came down the pitch for a pull shot but was limited for space, only managing a top edge. Both Sanju Samson and Kuldeep Sen, the short third man, asked for the catch, which the latter made following a brief collision.
