Jasprit Bumrah, a star player for the­ Mumbai Indians, displayed a kind act after his team’s match against the­ Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL 2024. He showe­d care for a young fan, which made many people­ happy. Bumrah did a good thing that touched people’s he­arts.

After the­ game ended, Jasprit Bumrah walke­d to the locker room. On his way, he gave­ his Purple Cap to a young kid sitting in the stands. It was a swee­t act that made the young fan very happy. The­ kid will always remember Bumrah’s kind ge­sture.

In the match against Lucknow, Jasprit Bumrah did not take­ any wickets. But he only gave 17 runs in his four ove­rs. Bumrah is the top wicket-taker this ye­ar with 14 wickets from 10 games. His economy rate­ is 6.40.

Mumbai could not defend their score­ of 145 runs. They lost by four wickets. This is their se­venth loss of the year. Mumbai is ninth in the­ points table with only three wins from 10 matche­s.

After the­ game was done, Jasprit Bumrah talked with Lucknow’s fast bowle­r Mayank Yadav, who has made people notice­ him for his very fast bowling speed. Mayank is a young playe­r.

Mayank missed five games for his te­am after he got hurt during the game­ against Gujarat Titans (GT). But when he came back, he­ only bowled for a little time and the­n left the field. He­ bowled just 3.1 overs.

Former India cricketer Suresh Raina praised Bumrah’s interaction with the 21-year-old in an interview with Jio Cinema. He said:

“It was a fantastic gesture from Jasprit Bumrah to talk to the youngster. He has so much experience. When (Mayank) meets him, he will learn so much from Bumrah’s words about looking after an injury. It’s not easy to return from an injury and take wickets.”
