With this, the modern-day maestro became the first Indian player to participate in 100 T20 matches at the same venue. The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium has been Kohli’s stronghold since his RCB debut in 2008.

Since then, the former RCB and India captain has scored 3,298 runs at the stadium, with an average of nearly 40 and a strike rate of about 141.

Overall, Kohli is the 15th cricketer to accomplish this accomplishment. Over 100 T20s have been played by 11 Bangladeshi players at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.
