Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Shardul Thakur, and Shreyas Iyer from the Indian squad, as well as coach Rahul Dravid, were spotted spending time with various children at the Wankhede Stadium before of the 2023 World Cup match against Sri Lanka on Thursday, November 2.
The ICC and UNICEF have joined forces in the ‘One Day 4 Children’ campaign, which also has the support of the BCCI and Sri Lanka cricket. On Thursday, the Wankhede stadium will turn blue as UNICEF hopes to raise awareness about the significance of children having a fair opportunity of growth and a bright future through the World Cup stage.
Shreyas Iyer was shown in an ICC film talking about the effort and how, as a boy, he longed to rub shoulders with the great cricketers who played back then. Ishan Kishan and others were also spotted having fun with the kids and providing them with countless unforgettable moments.

Possible Changes in India’s XI for World Cup Game against Sri Lanka
Team India are comfortably top of the table after six victories in six games, which may allow them to test out a new lineup on Thursday.
It would be intriguing to watch if the Men in Blue rest certain players or if they prioritize semifinal qualifying and go full strength against Sri Lanka.
The Lankans, on the other hand, will be looking to rebound from a disheartening seven-wicket loss to Afghanistan.
