Harpreet Brar claimed the valuable wicket of Shivam Dube in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match involving Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) at Chepauk on Wednesday (May 1). The batsman in form was out without scoring after Chennai lost two wickets off successive balls.
The dismissal happened in the ninth over. Brar produced a tossed-up delivery on the leg stump, and Shivam Dube was about to play toward midwicket, but the ball straightened after it was pitched. After the on-field umpire issued the review, the left-hander went for it right away. The replays indicated that the ball would have hit the top of the middle stump.
