Gautam Gambhir the mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) humorously observed that Shah Rukh Khan the teams coowner despite his widespread success failed to sway Gambhir into dancing. According to Gambhir lacking prowess in dancing and singing he finds joy in watching others showcase their talents.
While KKR head coach Chandrakant Pandit was spotted having fun on the dance floor during the team’s party following their IPL 2024 victory, Gambhir chose to stay away, as he normally does.
In an appearance on Sportskeeda’s Match ki Baat, the Kolkata Knight Riders coach was asked if he danced to any songs during the post-win celebration.
“You are asking the wrong person. Neither can I dance, nor can I sing. I can watch others dance and can enjoy it as well, and I did that.”

After KKR won the title on Sunday, May 26, numerous emotional moments between the co-owner and the players were recorded on video. When asked about this, Gambhir responded:
