A video of a dispute between cricket supporters during a match between the Delhi Capitals and the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League 2023 has gone trending on social media.
On Saturday, April 29, DC faced SRH in IPL 2023 40th match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. This was game two of the doubleheader. Hyderabad eventually defeated Delhi by nine runs. SRH batted first and scored 197/6 before holding DC to 188/6.
A video of supporters fighting during the game has gone viral on social media networks.
After winning the toss, SRH batted first and were helped to a competitive total by half-centuries by Abhishek Sharma (67 off 36) and Heinrich Klaasen (53* of 27). DC were doing good in the chase, at 112/1 thanks to half-centuries from Philip Salt (59 off 35) and Mitchell Marsh (63 off 39).
However, Mayank Markande (2/20) took a brilliant return catch to dismiss Philip Salt. Following that, the Delhi Capitals failed their way and were stooped at 188/6. Despite his team’s defeat, Delhi all-rounder Marsh was voted Player of the Match. He recorded numbers of 4/27 with the ball before reaching a fifty.
