Former Mumbai Indians batsman Ambati Rayudu believes captain Rohit Sharma should speak up. He should openly support Hardik Pandya, the new leader. This comes amid rumors of the team splitting into two groups.

We must note that the franchise removed Rohit as captain last season. Despite scoring 600 runs at an average of 20, MI failed to reach the finals. This led to his sacking from the leadership role.

Ambati Rayudu recently informed Star Sports (via CricToday):

“Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and Surayakumar Yadav have given their blood to the team. They have worked hard to make it a successful unit.
