Ambati Rayudu Urges Rohit Sharma to Show Solidarity with Captain Hardik Pandya Amid MI’s Consecutive IPL Defeats
Former Mumbai Indians batsman Ambati Rayudu believes captain Rohit Sharma should speak up. He should openly support Hardik Pandya, the new leader. This comes amid rumors of the team splitting into two groups.
We must note that the franchise removed Rohit as captain last season. Despite scoring 600 runs at an average of 20, MI failed to reach the finals. This led to his sacking from the leadership role.
Ambati Rayudu recently informed Star Sports (via CricToday):
He added:
MI lost their first game to GT by six runs in Ahmedabad before falling short by 31 runs in a massive 278-run chase against SRH. They will now seek to win at home again.
