Ravindra Jadeja, an all-rounder for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), bowled against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in an Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 game at MA Chidambaram Stadium on Monday.
The left-arm spinner removed Sunil Narine, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, and Venkatesh Iyer to end with an impressive 3/18.
Jadeja’s comeback with the ball came after taking only one wicket in his previous four outings. He weaved a web around the Knight Riders, leaving them struggling at 64-4 after 8.2 overs.
Jadeja was retained by CSK for ₹16 crore before IPL 2024. This occurred after his great performance in every area last season. The 35-year-old also played a major role in guiding CSK to their fifth IPL title. In the final against Gujarat Titans, he hit a six and a four to help his team win.
