A clip showing a Virat Kohli double surrounded by eager fans wanting pictures and selfies in Ayodhya has swept across social networks. A wave of excitement took over some folks when they noticed the Indian cricket icon’s doppelganger during the Ram Temple inauguration ceremony.
Noted persona Virat Kohli was on the guest list for the Ram Temple’s inauguration on Monday, January 22. A clip of his caravan being noticed in Ayodhya spread like wildfire online the day before the event. But, both Kohli and Anushka Sharma apparently skipped the occasion.
As admirers puzzled over Kohli’s no-show, a video featuring his doppelganger captured attention on social media. Wearing the blue uniform and cap characteristic of India’s former captain, the lookalike relished his brief sparkle of fame.

Virat Kohli reportedly missed the event. However, ex-India bowlers, Venkatesh Prasad and Anil Kumble, along with retired Women’s captain Mithali Raj, attended the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
Madhuri Dixit, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt were there. Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmann Khurrana, too. Don’t forget Katrina Kaif. Many Bollywood stars graced the grand event.
Virat Kohli to miss first two England Tests for personal reasons
Virat Kohli won’t be there for the initial two tests in the India-England series which is starting by January 25, tied up with some personal matters. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) verified this on Monday.
“Mr. Virat Kohli has requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to be withdrawn from the first two Tests of the upcoming IDFC First Bank Test series against England, citing personal reasons. Virat has spoken to Captain Rohit Sharma, the team management and the selectors and has emphasized that while representing the country has always been his top priority, certain personal situations demand his presence and undivided attention.”
“The BCCI respects his decision and the Board and team management has extended its support to the star batter and is confident in the abilities of the remaining squad members to step up and deliver commendable performances in the Test series.”

The media and fans were also asked by the BCCI to “respect Kohli’s privacy” and “avoid speculating on the nature of his personal reasons.”
Additionally, the Indian cricket board declared that the former captain of India will soon have a successor.
