Yuzvendra Chahal, Rajasthan Royals’ skilled leg-spinner, outsmarted Shubman Gill. He dismissed him with a brilliant delivery. This happened during the IPL 2024 match against Gujarat Titans. The match took place at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday, April 10.
Shubman Gill batted well, scoring a controlled half-century in Gujarat Titans’ chase of 197. In the 16th over bowled by Chahal, Gill looked to increase the run rate. He hit fours off the first two balls. Then, Gill stepped out of the crease on the next ball, trying to continue his aggressive approach.
Chahal anticipated the batter’s movement and bowled a wide-flighted delivery at a leisurely speed. Wicket-keeper Sanju Samson retrieved the ball cleanly after Shubman missed it and removed the bails to complete the successful stumping with the batsman a considerable way ahead. Gill scored 72 runs off 44 deliveries.
