It is a rare event where the Australian Cricket Team has succeeded in defeating
Team India in a Test Series in the latter’s homeland. However, this time the
captain of the Australian Cricket Team has showcased a considerable belief
that his men are all set and ready to win against the men in blue in the
upcoming 4 matches test series. The skipper says that the team was adapting
well to the experience they gained in Pakistan and Sri Lanka last year, and the
results would be evident. To this date, Australia has won a 4 match test series
in India against the host only once in 2004. Let us see if we can see this rare
sight again this time!
The 4 matches test series will be conducted in February & March. The first
match will be on February 9 at Nagpur, followed by the 2nd match in Delhi on
February 17. The third test match will be in Dharamshala on March 1, and the
fourth test match will be in Ahmedabad on March 9.

The Kangaroos have announced their 18 men’s squad for the India Test Series.
The team will be led by Pat Cummins and have included 4 spinners & 6 quicks.
The spinners playing for Australia in India would be Todd, Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Swepson, and Ashton Agar. The team has also recalled the veteran Peter
Handscomb. The all-rounder players Cameron Green, Mitchell Starc, and Lance
Morris would also be seen during the series. Josh Hazelwood, Usman Khwaja,
Mathew Renshaw, David Warner, Steve Smith, Alex Carey, Scot Boland, Travis
Head, and Marnus are also a part of the Australian squad.
Australia’s clean sweep against South Africa
Recently, Australia won a 3 match test series against South Africa. Out of the 3
matches, the Kangaroos won 2 matches, and the 3rd match was a draw. The
bowlers of the Australian team had their fierce spells giving a hard time to
South African batters. The team was well in form and all set to take over the
rivals in the upcoming series.
