Aakash Chopra feels the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) already have a competitive lineup and are not overly reliant on foreign players as the IPL 2024 auction begins on Tuesday in Dubai.
Before the auction, the Chennai-based franchise released eight players. They have a residual budget of 31.4 crore and may only sign six players, three of whom must be foreigners.
Aakash Chopra asserted in a video posted to his YouTube channel that the Chennai Super Kings have a solid abroad contingent but are not overly reliant on them. He went on to say:

Chopra believes Akash Singh’s release will have no negative influence on CSK because Mukesh Choudhary is back in the mix. While noting that Ambati Rayudu was frequently used as an Impact Player, he suggested that they may find a good substitute for him at the auction.
