Following the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Friday, January 5 announcement of the 2024 T20 World Cup schedule, former Indian opener Aakash Chopra recently brought attention to the fact that many organizations have displayed posters and promotional materials featuring various players.
In his post on X (previously known as Twitter), he alluded to the uncertainty surrounding Indian captaincy in the Twenty20 format, given that both Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya possible contenders-were included in several posters and promotional materials from different organizations. Virat Kohli’s participation in the promos was also noted by Aakash Chopra.
Remarkably, Rohit Sharma appeared on the ICC billboard among other T20I leaders, including Jos Buttler, Shaheen Afridi, Rovman Powell, and others. Some choose to follow in the footsteps of Hardik Pandya, who captained India through most of the post-World Cup T20 2022 series.
Following his observation of the posters and advertisements, Aakash Chopra posted on X to share his thoughts on it.
