It has been over a decade since Pakistan and India played each other in a bilateral series. However, Pakistani cricketers have competed against India in recent years, representing other nations. These players have done well. Here are five such players.
1. Moeen Ali
In 16 Test matches, Moeen Ali has 55 wickets and 756 runs against India. In 16 ODI matches, he has 9 wickets and 377 runs. However, in T20Is, his batting strike rate is not as good as it might be.
2. Owais Shah
Shah played 13 One Day Internationals against India, scoring 430 runs at a strike rate of 93.07. His only ODI century came at the Kennington Oval on July 5, 2007, where he scored an unbeaten 107.
3. Usman Khawaja
The Australian team’s top performer in international cricket is Usman Khawaja, born in Pakistan. He scored a half-century in the second Test against India at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Across nine ODIs, he has scored 593 runs, including two centuries and three fifties. He has a strike rate of more than 180 in T20Is against India.
4. Adil Rashid
A leg-spinner, Rashid has played 19 Test matches for England, 10 of which have been against India. He has bowled 33 wickets in those 10 matches, with his best figure of 4/82. He has also taken eight wickets in T20Is. Last year, he bowled a match-winning spell of 1/20 in the T20 World Cup semifinals.
5. Kabir Ali
Kabir Ali had a brief international career for England but made a noticeable impact in the few matches he played against India. He bowled a brilliant spell of 4/45.
